Yes. Each CloakID persona has a real US phone number — the kind that works with any form, any verification text, any call. It's yours to use for as long as your subscription is active.
Your numbers are released at the end of the billing period. Releases are permanent — once a number goes back into the pool, you can't reclaim it, so export anything you want to keep first.
Not yet. iOS is the launch platform. You can join the Android waitlist to hear when it's ready.
Unknown callers are asked to state their reason for calling. Legitimate callers get through; boiler-room autodialers don't. You can whitelist specific numbers per persona.
As long as your subscription is active and you keep the persona assigned, the number stays with you. There's no rotation or forced churn.
Messages transit our infrastructure to reach the carrier. We don't sell them, and there's no ad pipeline reading them. Specifics on storage will live in the security writeup when it's ready.
A second SIM gives you one extra line, tied to your device, visible to your carrier. CloakID gives you several personas, swap-able and disposable, without touching your real line or SIM.
